Beautiful powerful cars, and the meaning of life
Racing drivers have a life philosophy ready to go, that they can apply to everything and let rip.... But they don't
Welcome to a 🔒 subscriber-only edition 🔒 of my weekly newsletter. Every week I take a deep dive into driving technique and unique racing driver perspectives, to keep you fully lit as a racing driver.
Heavyweight brainiac minds, the greatest thinkers humanity has spat out, like to crucify their brain cells trying to formulate a meaning to life that can sustain the kind of people, who realised already, that there isn’t one.
It’s an essential endeavour, because really smart people tend to get the right hump with the ways of the world, and they switch off; leaving the advancement of humanity in the hands of, let’s say, lesser folk.
Among the smartest and greatest of the higher types of humans, capable of leading the way, are the racing drivers - I believe the best of the best, potentially.
But it’s the racing drivers who are also the most vulnerable to getting really depressed, because they have touched the live wire that is racing, making daily human activity an impossible trudge through the mud in comparison.
This leads them to switch off - big time, and get stuck without the energy to raise the dosh to race.
Not that racing drivers would ever bother to read the great works of literature the brainiacs have churned out. maybe that would help drivers discover a route to unleashing their massive potential.
But drivers don’t need to anyway!…
Because they already hold the key to life and letting it all rip! That key can unlock the whole world to them, have it fall to it’s knees, and deliver everything they want.
What racing drivers don’t know they know - that unlocks everything
The love of insanely powerful, beautifully sculptured cars, means something big.
Yes, most people appreciate a good looking car but not everyone is crippled and stopped dead in their tracks by them - paralysed by their own visceral reaction.
When a racing driver sees a car that strikes them, they can just about grunt between breaths. It hits them so hard in the soul that they immediately understand life, energy, humanity and power - all in a momentary flash.
Here’s the one that knocks me on my backside:
What gets communicated by a car like that, and what it means.
Raw elemental power
Engines are fed with dangerously volatile chemicals that are pulled from the depths of the earth, which when ignited let loose all the violence of hell itself.
