Few years ago, SWS race at Dubai Kartdrome (which is more like a bumper cars race - I grew to strongly dislike it). Real dirty Canadian driver (I know - go figure. Canadians are usually the politest most apologetic race I know. Second only to the Finns). Qualified badly, race 1 got past the dude almost immediately and pushed on - back hairpin he got through the corner by using me as a rebound barrier - completely t boned me backwards. Race destroyed but it’s Dubai SWS so stewards (are there even any?) tend to not give a toss. Race 2 played out exactly the same……except I was ready for the same move at the same hairpin. Stayed outside, braked a bit harder, let him make the move before I turned in. My kart then wasn’t there to help rebound his through the hairpin, I laughed so hard as he went straight on nose first into the barrier. I was still laughing in the car on my way home later 🤣 it was beautifully timed.
